David C. Burkhardt, CPA
Dave specializes in income tax planning and tax return preparation for individuals, businesses, estates, and not-for-profit organizations. He also brings extensive practical knowledge and experience to new and small business clients, particularly those in their first five years of operation.
Dave has been with Hendershot-Burkhardt Tax Services for more than 25 years. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Virginia Tech, with a major in Accounting.
A longtime resident of Manassas, Dave has lived in the community for more than 20 years. He and his family enjoy the area, and he is the proud father of three children and grandfather of three grandchildren.
Jennifer Burke, CPA
Jennifer has more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, providing a wide range of services to clients. Her experience includes auditing, with a primary focus on not-for-profit organizations, tax return preparation and tax planning, and bookkeeping services.
Jennifer is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Missouri–Columbia.
Outside of her professional career, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband and their two adult children.
Monica Snead
Monica is an administrative staff member at Hendershot-Burkhardt Tax Services. Bilingual in Spanish and English, she plays an important role in enhancing client communication and providing exceptional service.
Monica supports the firm’s daily operations by organizing tax documentation necessary to complete the tax return, preparing completed tax return packages, and assisting clients with questions and document requests. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Francisco de Paula Santander University in Cúcuta, Colombia.
Outside of the office, Monica is an active member of the local community and participates in several organizations focused on outreach and service.
